I haven't got my observatory set up at my new place yet but my location is great for viewing moonrise. I took a couple of shots on 12th and 13th Dec across the valley that lies before me. The first was taken with Canon 350D plus Canon FD 70-210mm F4 lens. The second was taken with Canon 350D on William Optics FLT110 F7 refractor.
The skies here are so dark when there is no moon around I can't wait to get a permanent setup again so I can take advantage of them
