Yes, it just fits in the Quick release of the telescope instead of the finderscope.

I am not sure what fittings you mean? If you mean the holder which fits in the quick release and holds the red dot finder, than as far as I know you can only get this together with the Orion red dot finder as I have for sale. I am not aware that those holders are sold separately.
