You have chosen very well. You won't regret spending the extra money.
Your setup is exactly the same as ours and we have had great success imaging with this rig.
It is quite a learning curve setting to whole thing up for imaging but just pose your questions on the forum and you will quickly get help.
The kids are going to love it
