I make a little cash on the side selling my own feeble attempts at Astro and Land photography. (I print and frame them myself to keep costs to a minimum)
Being a member of the local Art Society certainly helps. I have a room to myself at our Art Gallery where I can display my work and we set up stands at the markets and shows.
I pay a 15% commission on all sales through the Gallery and Art Society organised stalls. But if I setup on my own, the money is all mine.
I bought my Canon 20D with the profits from last financial year.
