yeah - when I first loaded it into lightroom I had a play with the exposure but I thought that brightening it took away from the image and made the image background looked pushed. Therefore I reset the exposure to the original out of camera and left it at that. I should point out that it was overcast with some dark storm clouds approaching and I was only using the flash at around 1/8 power. I think the lighting is "moody" and the main subject is lit enough, albeit slightly uneven for the out of focus legs, and therefore decided to run with it.
