Hey, I ended up taking some photos of it as well, great minds.
I went for a run this afternoon and noticed venus shining brightly next to the cresent, looked great. I took some pictures yesterday of venus and the moon as well when they were further apart but I won' post those. Both images taken from the first floor balconey of my new place just using the camera on a tripod at around 7:15pm.
ps. Rob: you should have known better than that!
