That doesn't really surprise me Ric.
Every year this date rolls past with nary a mention in the media. If this was America, it would be a public holiday. Whatever you may think of the Yanks, they do honour their history.
Sadly, the attitude of the average Australian to their history is one of "Best We Forget."
