Steve, seeing as you seem to be taking our attempts at humour as some sort of personal attack - I apologise. Those thousand monkeys with typewriters actually seem to also write 99% of the TV programs/advertising/newspapers/magazines that we see as well as creating the internet as well. btw that quote was originally made by someone who didnt like the internet i would think, giving everyday joes a chance to have a voice ect. I thought this was Ice in Space forums - not the NASA or some university or other forums. Also I don't understand your alarm- every time someone posts to your thread it gets bumped up in the headlines creating more publicity for this oh so very serious thread - any publicity is good publicity as they say. One mans monkey business is another mans humour - and as Rupert Murdoch says, todays news is tomorrows fish and chip wrapping. I am sorry the necessary level of intellectual stimulation was compromised. Humour is vital part of my day, and also a vital part of myself and my friends approach to AMATEUR astronomy.
