Lots of soft sand beach driving will kill the yokos or anything else except steel tank tracks in no time flat.

My first set of yokos only lasted about 50,000k but I was doing heaps of beach fishing and the sand in the dunes behind Stockton Beach , and along Blacksmiths Beach , and up on Myall Beach is very soft but really erodes the tread. Beach driving was a bit of novalty to me and I really liked it, and at the time there were fish to be had.

I was told at the time 50000km from a set of tyres on a 4WD was good.
