I took the rain gauge tank apart today to find a spider had made a wonderful web across the axle that the bucket tilts on, so when it rained it stayed open all the time
So I cleaned it all up and reassembled it and it has had a great work out as it has been raining for a couple of hours now and everything is reading just fine
