Its interesting that the Space Shuttle "Enterprise" did not actually flight in space much like the "Enterprise" in the Star Trek serie. On the other hand the Star Trek version had more simulated space time then the actual shuttle name sake.

What NASA should have done is got the cast of Star Trek to test flight the Space Shuttle "Enterprise" you can hear it now;

Kirk: Uhura infrom Houston we are ready for launch
Uhura: Houston, Enterprise ready for launch
Houston: Roger, Enterprise you are clear for launch
Kirk: Sulu give me ignition
Sulu: Ay Captain

Engines ignite

Kirk: Sulu engines to full throttle
Sulu: Ay Captain
Spoke: We have cleared the tower, Jim
Kirk: Sulu throttle engines back to 90% and commance roll.
Spoke: Roll complete, Jim

90sec go by

Houston: Go for throttle up
Uhura: Captain, Houston said go for throttle up
Kirk: “Scotty warp facture nine”
Scotty “Captain the hydrogen and Oxygen what burn fast enough, she’s going to blow”
