6" fluorite double folded refractor,optics and design by barry adcock, construction by me.this APO won an award for construction at Ilford. the box is made of a 4mm al/phenolic material,outer cover, leather! the mirrors are 20th wave overcoated zerodure. f/10.5 ,scope weight,10k. included,light weight ply case.$4,500, little more than the cost of the glass!
8" Quantum, possibly one of the original eight! this maksutov gives stunning images.the optics are at the very least, as good as a 7" Qestar. the extra inch says it all . Questars never stood a chance against this! the mak comes with two mounts. a 4" Unitron G.E.M.,rebuilt with roller bearings, stepping moter drive. an altaz/dob type for easy viewing. a proffesional instrument case can ship this baby to Mars!
