Not sure what you mean by remaining noise??? it looks pretty smooth to me..? Probably too smooth even? There are most likely some faint details and background galaxies lost in your smoothing process..?

, I try! Well in the full size version I notice the noise but its rather minimal. As for the orientation it was the other way around and I decided to rotate it some. Must look its best with the darker dust lanes below? Have to revisit your site and have a peep!
