thanks guys. yes it would have been a lot better if Al and I stayed still, or better still nowhere near the camera. We were both going backwards and forwards from the tripods to the big binos looking around the place and checking that the system was still working. Big mistake!! needed to have ste it and then walked away - for a long time. But the fireworks was a very unexpected bonus. I cobbled the images together into a avi video that i made with the same programme, but it is huge at nearly 80mb but it looks cool. you can see the clould rolling on through the shots and the cars moving, then venus explodes
. I will have to work out how i can make it small enough to post somewhere?
