I used an ED80 'piggy-backed' on my 12" LX, for some considerable time, where it doubled as a guide scope/wide field scope.
The 6.3 FR will work very well on the ED80, but don't forget to calculate the correct spacing between the FR and the CCD, to achieve the full x6.3.
You might get way with using the 3.3, but this will be dependant on the size of the CCD, as if too big, the FR will not properly illuminate the whole of the CCD, and you'll get severe coma.
The best thing is the 'suck it and see', you might just be lucky. If so, you'll have a really wide FOV to 'play' with.
