Not slower, faster 1/50s as opposed to 1/25s.

I'd suggest using "k3ccdtools version 1" as your capture program for planetary/lunar, and desire (or whatever you use) for long exposure stuff. What you need to be able to control is the shutter speed, gain, frame rate, brightness, contrast.

Turn off auto, and if you get access to play with those controls, then use whatever you like, but change the shutter to 1/50s or faster, gain at 0, brightness default, and contrast 0.

You'll see it immediately when the settings are right, the belts will pop right out.
