Sorry to hear.
Unless you have taken specific insurance - they will say they are a common carrier and not responsible - claim it on you rinsurance. !

Its one of the reasons I always ask for all my items to be double boxed before they are shipped.

Its of no help if they are rammed with a forklift or squashed but it does tend to offer a little extra protection and usually puts the object of interest another 2 inches further away from harm !
