Basically the chances of getting trojans/spyware are reduced by a couple of orders of magnitude. Believe me, since I've hidden IE and put Firefox in its place on both my parents' and brother's computers ... I hardly get called up anymore to fix popups, spyware and other stuff that shouldn't be going on

That's not even talking about the great features the browser has, that 'wasyoungonce' covered well. It's amazing when you find out what you've been missing out on

But in the end, if you're definitely not plagued by spyware/viruses and you don't do much online other than light browsing, then it might not be that interesting.
