Even though I agree with whats been said on this post, that it's not a wise investment, what we all have to consider is the priceless excitement and thrill of building something over time that you and your Son will have over the next year or 2 that we can't put a monetary value on. You have previously completed the skeleton so you understand the cost and the time needed to complete such a project so how can we criticise.
Like I said it's not for me I dont have the patience to complete something over such a long period but I say go for it Jen.
Let us know with some pics once you get a decent start on the model.
