Wow. About 14 years ago thats what I said when I looked through an eyepiece for the first time. The object was Saturn and from then on the astronomy bug had claimed itself another victim.

Earlier today I thought I wouldnt get the chance to go out there and use my new eyepiece, but never say never. My introduction to widefield was a Meade 5000 uwa 24mm. I needed something with lower mag and I got a cheap bintel 42mm. That eyepiece actual suprise me with it visual quality, and thats why I now have the TV 31mm and TV Ethos 13mm I had acquired the need for ultimate quality. The target was 47 Tucanae. Man it was the same rush that I got all those years ago the view was spectacular through the 31mm Nagler and you litteraly have to move your head around to get the full FOV. I then got the Ethos 13mm out on the same target, it was as thou I was struggling to find a black patch inbetween the stars. Wow Wow Wow!!!!!

Guys save your money and buy these eyepieces Im putting my name down for a Ethos 17mm which is due in jan 2009. If the dollar stays at what it is I think its going to cost $950au.
