I had one some time ago, when I used to do visual stuff, I couldn't figure out why I was not able to see anything, just total black.
Finally after checking the scope from head to tail, and found all was well, so what is the problem, anyway I said some choice words and packed it away.
I then became apparent that in the darkness I had left the black plastic dust cap on the end of the EP and shoved it into the diagonal, so the problem was not obvious until I actually took out the EP.
Now I'm not going to tell you about the other stuff Iv'e done, but I'm sure we have all been there at some stage.
