I've been really undecided whether to do this but think it is the wise thing to do. I'm moving house soon and a 16" scope is not the ideal thing for the new place. Besides I've had a bug lately to get back into photography and might change to an eq mount that I can easily chuck in the back of the car. or an sct. haven't made up my mind yet.
So for sale is a 16" lightbridge with some lovely wheelbarrow handles/wheels that peter from sdm cooked up for me. The handles come off and on very easily.
I'm selling it as is with an argo navis included and fully fitted and working. that said, if you already have an argo I can sell the scope separately as i'm sure I'd have no problems selling an argo separately.
though the pics look like a dirty garage, it's just cluttered
the scope has been kept very well looked after and literally only gets moved 10-15 metres to be used out of the garage where it stays. So theres no knocks or scratches from banging through doors and so on.
If you really want to go all out I can do a price for the scope + argo + 6mm and 7mm radian and naglers and a 13mm ethos but otherwise I think the scope will just sell with the argo, then I'll list the eyepieces separately at a later date when the scope is gone.
the scope works perfectly and gives awesome views. the mirror probably needs a bit of a clean but i haven't bothered yet as it looks fine through an eyepiece.
So after all that, 16" LB with wheels and argo navis is $2k. pickup only from helensburgh nsw.
