Nice image, you did a lot of things right here.
I don't mind the spikes myself.
There is a colour balance problem with the magenta cast and the stars could be sharpened slightly.
Try curves/wondows/histogram (now you have all the colours and their histogram and you'll see which one is out of whack). Adjust curves to pull back the colour that is not the same as the others.
Perhaps curves on RGB to brighten the image generally.
Try smart sharpen a bit. See if you like it.
