G’Day All,
Thanks for the info about sun filters people I know I was pretty vague about what I wanted. I have Meade LXR75 8”and all I know about these filters is that they come in glass or film. What filter would you use to see sun flares or sun spots and what price would you pay and how are they attach to the telescope and what colour do you see the sun .I have seen photo with the sun coloured red, green or white .I do know that HA filters you need a small bank loan to buy one so I will not be looking at them so out of the rest that are on the market what would be the best to buy and what would you see.
