I might be having some tourists from the Netherlands over for a viewing session tomorrow (weather permitting). Since they are from the Northern Hemisphere they will want to view all the "wow" objects we have to offer.
I need to compile a list of things to view in my 10" Dobsonion telescope. Obviously they need to be relatively easy to star hop to since I don't want them to get bored while waiting for me to track things down and they need to have the
factor.
My favourites are:
Jewel Box (NGC 4755)
Eta Carinae Nebula
Omega Centauri
47 Tucanae
LMC & SMC
Tarantula Nebula
Jupiter
Any other suggestions for must see objects?
