Looks good Doug, perhaps a little lumpy if that's the right word, I'm not sure how to describe it. Did you do a Gaussian Blurr or something.
When you say you were running the camera at -40C did you mean 40C below ambient temperature i.e. was the ambient temp 0 degrees when you were imaging . Most CCD cameras can only get to those kind of temps with water cooling, does the QHY8 have water cooling option ?
