Hi Matt, from what I've been told the FLT98 is around the same price as the FLT110 .... I went for the larger aperture obviously .... half an inch ( 12mm ) can make a difference especially if you're not paying any more for it. Also as I said in a previous post I wanted the steel reinforced 4" focuser to enable any possible larger CCD upgrades at a later date.
Having said that I'm sure you will be happy with your new scope whichever model you buy ! Good luck !
