Once again, thank you all for the great feedback I am glad you found the image so enjoyable.
my apologies for being slow to respond.....I posted the image yesterday, set up an all-night sequence, got up at 6am this morning to travel to Darwin for work all next week. In the hotel now and catching up.
I havent checked the data, but I hope to have bagged yet another 4 hours SII on the Helix nebula. The data is exceptionally weak at this wavelength, so I expect I am going to need about 40 hours or so.
Anyway, Mike, that decision is imminent, I mean in the next 2-3 weeks....I believe the job gets advertised next week, so fingers crossed.
But not to worry....already checked with CWAS and they will accept my entries next year.
