Excelent shots Stephen, I'd say you weren't far away from where I was on the night.
We weren't aware of the festivities until we arrived.
I took my camera to Brissy but not the tripod so my shots are fairly ordinary by comparison. Here's a couple of my best handheld shots with a little help from IS. I had to keep the ISO up to keep the exposures ralatively short.
