Early on you can get the Milky Way and Jupiter in the west. If you have a good northern horizon it would be a good time to try for the Veil neb in Cygnus. Later on it would be hard to go past NGC 253. While your there you can try NCG 247, 300 & 55. Then hop over to Uranus and Neptune.
