Baader UHCS filter on 50mm lens

Hi all.
Due to the wind and high cloud/haze, I didnt try any through the scope imaging tonight. Instead, I wondered what would happen if I tried shooting through my UHCS filter on a 50mm lens. The filter didnt fit so I carefully just sat it on the existing UV lens filter. I wasnt expecting much in the poor sky conditions but gee, check this out

same settings.
An added benefit is that the filter seems to filter out not only light pollution but the light that causes colour flaring in the 50mm lens.
I must try this again under better skies.
