You could use software to 2x2 bin and image at 2376 x 1584, with a 9.4 micron effective pixel size. Sure, it won't be as efficient as a CCD with that native resolution, but it would get the job done.
I'll be curious to see some testing done of this new sensor in regards to noise and sensitivity, as well as see if the new anti-dust coating has any impact on sensitivity at any frequencies.
