Hi everyone,
Well a fortnight ago I had a real beaut night (before my Corona Aus shot). Clear and steady skies with above average seeing and no wind or cloud to be seen. Everything went very smoothly including the guiding and I got that all critical focus just right too. Imaged M27 as well as the Swan neb (M17).
Stars came out nice and tight and more detail showing than on a normal night. Very pleased with the results and by far my best Swan to date...

Image is 18 at 5-1/2 min at iso 800...
Less processing than usual due to good seeing and a cold crisp night.
Image cropped and resampled to about 75% of original, so nice up and close look...
cheers and thanks for looking...
