Its Not Iceman Quality But I’m Thrilled

Good viewing and the DMK 21AU04 imager will record the goods! Jupiter is close to being directly overhead with a late moonrise, but the fine weather hasn’t brought good atmospherics. Thin high cloud spoilt the evenings, 21st and 22nd. Last night I managed 5 captures between 6.35 to 7.10, the best as attached, after which it was impossible to focus with any accuracy.
For those who may have had similar problems with their finder scope - submitted a week ago - I’m pleased to report after following the focusing instructions, it was great to use. But I do agree with the member who criticized the thickness of the cross hairs. You can hide Jupiter behind them. Thanks Satchmo for your assistance.
The image with the moon shadow recorded Aug 22 and the image with the large spot Aug 23
