My mum lives in Christchurch, she was telling me a couple of years ago
in Dunedin I think it was it didn't rise above -13c for like 7-8 days.
Dunedin is just a stones throw and a bit to your SE.
I tried walking to a local pub in Waterloo, Quebec once in -10 with wind
chill of -25, they have ground and windchill tempts there. In an couple
of pairs of jeans and couple or so sloppy joes and whatever else I could
throw on. Dont try taken a pee on the way home lol. No bull it was literally
turning to ice before it hit the ground. And you think frost bit on ya earlobes
or nose is bad lol
