Hi All,
Just received my new Canon 70-300mm IS Zoom lens (HK special) so took it down to Roma St gardens at lunchtime to see whether it stacked up.
I was impressed with the IS ... 1/30th sec handheld possible at 300mm!
The sharpness is great. This is a new lens and has one element of UD glass and it really has boosted up the resolution performance throughout the zoom range.
Anyway, here's a selection...I've even broken my taboo on photographing birds
