Terrible night, tried collimating ...

New telescope to play with and cloudy night skies.
I have been reading articles and tips on how to collimate a telescope and must say that it used to scare the *hit out of me. Anyway, like the title of the thread says, I decided to give it a go tonight.
When the scope arrived I could see the secondary mirror was not lining up so I played around with it a bit tonight. After about an hour of seeing how which screws moved the mirror in certain directions, it really doesn't seem to be that hard. The secondary mirror is now sitting in the middle when I look down through the focusor and the primary mirror doesn't seem to be out by much at all.
All done by using an camera film roll canister with a hole in the bottom.

Cheers - Craig.
