Great image Scott. Yes was very windy last night. I went to the Newcastle Foreshore at Nobbys to a viewing, George Livanos set up the NAS telescope and we saw the new moon just a sliver after sunset but was amazing he has a very keen eye to spot the moon which was virtually invisible. Then we viewed Venus, Mars and Saturn also Jupiter with 4 of it's moons and globular cluster Alpha Centauri.
Was well worth braving the cold night air
