Just right click on your desktop, choose"Properties". Next go to the "settings" tab. You'll see your two monitors. Click on the number 2 monitor, then check the box "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor".
You can then set its size, and move it in relation to the number 1 monitor so that the layout mimmics real life. Now you can run your mouse between them. Fine tune the position of the monitors in the tab to get the mouse crossing just right.
