Photoshop plug-ins for Light Pollution Removal

I wrote Noel the following letter for advice on what parameters to apply to use this script. Interesting to see what he advises (unless someone here has already cracked this one?

Dear Noel,

Can you please recommend values to put into your script that does Light Pollution Removal?

When I run this script it stops at two points asking for inputs.

At the first breakpoint it looks like it is doing a Gaussian blur on a processed copy of the shot (maybe its removing vignetting?) and asks for a pixel size (I believe this defaults to defaults to 15) I have tried various values from 5 – 85 in its range from 1 – 100). Can you please suggest how to select this parameter appropriately?

Secondly it opens up a curves window on a unusual looking layer and invite change the curve – what type of curve is recommended (highlight or decrease the dim areas, leave the middle zone alone and do what to the high intensity zones?)

Just wish these were documented somewhere!

Many thanks,

Matthew
