Using the 1.25" eyepiece adapter instead of using the 2" has solved my problem. I'm on my way now. I can now see that I need to re-collimate my scope. I thought my laser collimator was out of collimation itself as it traces an elliptical shape when I rotate it in the focusser. SO chershire here I come! Can anyone suggest a method to re-collimate / calibrate my laser collimator? I thought of putting it in a pipe vice and rotating / tracing its path and re-jigging it that way. But it wil be pretty fiddley. Any ideas?
Unfortunately I have the plague and will have to wait until the cold air doesn't vaporise whats left of my lungs to fully explore my new EPs.
