yeah, it should be flat, that what's the beauty of this scope :-)

I hope the weather will be fine when my VC200L arrives. It's not good at all these days with clouds and wind almost everyday.

I am playing with my older images too. Here is my last Eta Carina and M8 re-processed.

The adapter screws into a 60mm adapter supplied with the reducer. I uploaded a diagram from Peter here and it explains how all parts are connected.

I've decided to order a 2" noise piece from Peter too as the one I've got from Bintel has longer M42 thread than QHY8 42mm female can accept. Just want all pieces of imaging train to be connected tight.

Also here is a first light taken with a second hand VC200L by some guy who is a member of VC200L yahoo group. It seems there is a problem with collimation but it's still a very good picture in my opinion.
