I have no bad anecdotes, fortunately. And I don't feel strongly about defending the postal service (don't know anyone who works there, although I'm sure there a lots of nice, hard working folk behind the scenes).
But... I guess they are also confronted by rising petrol costs. And when was the last time they increased the price of stamps? They must be having to cut costs somewhere, I spose.
Anyone out there working for Aus Post who can tell us if systems are straining????
