Swayze 16" Mirror + Cell REPOST
Attention Newtonian aficionados
I have a superb as new 16" F5.5 Swayze pyrex mirror for sale.
The mirror is 16" in diameter, the thickness is 1.6" and it weighs approximately 10Kg. There is no centre spot. The SPECTRUM coatings are in pristine condition, this mirror has never seen starlight.
There is a SPECTRUM sticker on the back of the mirror.
The mirror is marked:

NOV 01 (Date of manufacture is Nov 2001)
It does not have an optical report (Steve Swayze don't do them) but is guaranteed to have a smooth diffraction limited surface.
New this mirror would cost you considerably more (around US$2600) than the $1500 I'm asking, not to mention the extra cost of shipping from the US etc.
It would make a superb mirror for an astrograph (my original intention) or for a very special DOB.
I have a matching 16" Novak 18 point mirror cell for sale for $225.
