Yes Fred a masterpiece and well done. I agree this is your best work and is a startling good image. I have never seen so much detail in the Lagoon and actually the Lagoon often is a somewhat unpleasant image due to the brownish stars nearby and the residual gas making the area look an odd colour. Your Ha RGB blows through that and concentrates on the interesting part of the neb itself which is the cloudlike folds in the gas.
I agree with Jase, if the stars annoy you then healing brush them out (by the way Jase you are being a bit hard on yourself I think, you have some stunning images).
ST10 is an awesome Ha camera. And what a great ad for the Meade OTA. What a performer.
The only way I could see this image being improved is if you layered in some real short exposures to get those bright stars in the centre resolved.
And if the stars are anooying you why don't you layer in a short RGB exposure of the stars only - Russell Croman has done this to good effect on his Lagoon Nebula image.
