Comet Boattini C/2007 W1 from Nambucca Heads

Here are my morning images of Boattini so far, taken from Nambucca Heads on the planetary imaging camp.

First one from the 29th. I only got 5 exposures before the morning twilight turned the images blue. I slept through the alarm and started late No flats ICNR darks.

Second and third are from this morning, 1st July. First one is 11 exposures but unfortunately I forgot to change the settings from small jpeg to RAW No flats, ICNR darks. The third is 6 exposures in RAW. Flats + ICNR darks.

All exposures are 1 minute.

I can see a hint of tail (extending to about the 1:30'oclock position) but my laptop shows things brightly so you may not see them.

Tomorrow morning i'll try and get everything working correctly and take many more exposures and try to get the tail to show more.

I can easily see the comet in the finderscope so it's pretty bright. I can just make it out naked eye as a faint smudge.
