Yes is cropped a bit due to me having a slight rotation with the rgbs from when I took the lum.
Have taken a mil off the spacer a month or so ago and things to the longer edge were better. Just 1 more mil and I reckon I'll be there.
Will look into the H16 later in the year.
Yes I have a 300D that I used a couple of times but always went back to my HX916 with a sigh of contented relief.
I still sort of like the narrower fov with this ccd, although the pressure would be off with a larger fov.
Guess I should do some pec training on this mount, never have but would make life a bit easier.

That double star is probably what you are referring to, and conditions can make the refraction spikes appear a little thick at times.
But hey, it is a Newt.
