I've long been an advocate of Virtual Dub as capture software. Once you learn the way around it's cryptic settings layouts it does a great job. If only planetary imaging shook my a bit more these days might use it more often.  |

It was my first attempt in over 12 months to do some planetary imaging. It was only after using my new 5" APO on Saturn on a rare still night that I thought I would give it a go. I use Virtualdub to collect the Avis from my Watec 120N+ camera and I wondered if it would work with the Toucam. Easy as and Ive found it to be the best program out there bar none. A pity more people dont use it as its fast and doesnt drop frames.
