It is argued that leaving the cooling fan on all night (until batteries run out anyway!

) provides a steady flow of air up the tube (if your fan blows - which is the only thing a fan should do!!), reducing the likelihood of dew formation on the primary and maybe on the secondary mirror. So far in my experience, I think it seems to, but folks will argue yes and no!
