Thanks for the comments everyone. It is amazing how easy it is to image Jupiter's moons near opposition! Hope the clouds cleared for those down South. (We actually had a heavy shower come through a couple of hours before taking these shots, but the sky cleared in time.)
John - I didn't use any filter for the Moon image, I just used a short enough exposure to avoid burning the image.
I dragged my 130mm newtonian out after taking these images, and the seeing seemed to be unusually good. Nice views of Io coming across the limb of Jupiter!
